The COVID-19 pandemic continues for a long time. The Setomono Festival, held every September, has been canceled for two consecutive years. Opportunities and events for producers and retailers of Seto ware to directly interact with the general public through Seto ware have also decreased considerably. With calls to stay home, the importance of home dining has shifted from eating out. This table setting contest was planned with the hope of making home dining tables brighter and richer with Seto ware. I was fortunate enough to receive the runner-up prize when I participated in this contest. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who came to see my work when it was exhibited at the Tozo Festival.
